So, as you know I have built a new home moved I am now finishing our Walkin basement and I am pooped between being sick all winter (3 times I caught a cold and every time it was after I went to a doctor's appointment at the hospital (The hospitals are filthy up here) and with my lung issues they usually last up to 3 weeks and by the 3rd bought I was worn out physically. So, while I sat and recovered, I thought back to Sunday sew and some other classes I will be having in the near future. I also have a ton of UFO's that I will be getting finished they are to the point of quilting and binding so I need them finished because they will be for sale and who doesn't need some extra income right now? Which comes to my subject of this post. We have talked about scraps and using them up, but why do we stop there now I know we have some showoffs that will say I finish all my quilts and that's great but the majority we have UFO's and sometimes a lot of them! So, what can we do? Well, most guilds will do fun contest ever year where you write down a number of quilts and the names, and you promise to get them done by a specific time. Its goal oriented and to be honest it really makes you feel good especially when you show it to your group of quilters. Although the room is not finished in order to keep my sanity, I am going to have some fun finishing some quilts and maybe embroider a little and try to finish at least one of my show quilts or just maybe relaxing for a couple weeks. I still have quilts of customers to get done and I have thought about not doing other people quilts and it's still a thought and there are reasons believe me but that is in my next blog and you defiantly won't want to miss that one.

Pauline, so much to do and so little time. Most importantly take care of yourself and your family. ❤️
